We stock new treated softwood, new oak and reclaimed ex-railway hardwood. The standard size across the range is 2.4m x 200mm x 100mm, roughly 8ft x 8in x 4in. Oak is also available in 2.4m x 150mm x 100mm and 2.4m x 200mm x 125mm.
Softwood is the cost-effective choice for raised beds and edging. Oak is naturally durable, untreated, and the one to choose where the timber will be on show. Reclaimed sleepers carry decades of genuine wear — bolt holes, plate marks and weathering that new timber can't imitate.
